Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2

So..... after counting down for about a month I finally saw it. *squee* I have to say that it's very different from the first and it's not quite what I expected, but it was still excellent. Personally I thought it wasn't as funny, but the environments and the trueness of the characters made up for that. XD THe story was good and no amount of fun animation or jokes can save a bad story. So that was very good. I do think the moral was pretty powerful even though it was pretty painful to watch Flint go through everything he had to go through to learn it. At these this film wasn't as tear-jerking as the first.

Hm.... what else can I say? There were a few callbacks but not as many as I thought - but I LOVED Flint's new inventions; they were just as dorky as the old ones. Steve was just as funny as he was in the original film. And Sam's... Sam is still very scary when she's angry. OnO (She's so awesome though.)

I'd also like to note that the 3D looked pretty sweet. The jungle looked so big an ominous, any time there were objects being thrown around, levitated, blown up, etc. it was cool. And I'm not gonna lie... Flint's nose is obviously huge with the 3D. Even if he faces front you can still see it sticking out, haha.

So I'll probably sketch Cloudy 2 stuff a lot now but I'll try not to spoil anything, haha. Oh and now I can't look at any kind of food without it recalling at least one of the foodimals. XD
