Hey guys,

I'm graduating this May so I've been thinking a lot about how I will approach making art and making connections (that could lead to work) in the near future. And I think it's time I move away from dA for the foreseeable future. I'm not gonna drop it cold and never check messages, but I've noticed the traffic I get here is less and less, and it feels like a chore to come back here and remember to update my gallery when I make new artwork.

I'm going to quit worrying about updating on here and just focus on those other places instead. I may also clean out a lot of old journals here and whatnot this summer but... yeah I just wanted to make a post explaining that I've largely moved on from this platform.

I'm graduating college this May, and my art studio senior project is the first issue of my Monster Trail comic series! I'm getting physical copies printed, and to help pay for printing costs I'm inviting folks to pre-order copies! Here's a quick summary:

At a secret Blue Ridge summer camp for monsters, three camper friends chase a runaway broom into the woods and discover that magic on the mountain is far from dormant.

Each copy is 48pages, full-color, and costs $20. Pre-orders close at midnight (EST) on Feb 28, 2019.

Aaand the whole comic will end pretty soon after I come back from this trip, so that's exciting!

Last night I finished drawing REM!

I'm still kinda processing the fact that it's finished. I still have a good bit of summer left, so I'm excited to do a few other personal art things and such before classes start back.

Anyway, on the current update schedule, Chapter 7 will finish posting on Friday, August 10th. Then on Monday, August 13th I will post the entire epilogue (it's 8 pages plus the cover). I could post the epilogue on a MWF schedule, but that will cause REM to finish posting after my classes have started back, and I'd rather just have it all be posted this summer so I can really feel like it's all wrapped up.

So that's the plan from here on out! Now it's time for me to rest a bit~
