Monster Blair Ref

I saw Monsters University and of course that made me want to design a monster version of myself, as I have seen many others doing. I also recently watch Monsters, Inc. twice in 24 hours, so that did it for me.

First I started looking for some "rules" that the designs follow. I noticed that no monsters have external ears, and that most don't have external noses. (Needleman and Sulley being exceptions.) Instead, most designs have horns. Also, monsters have analogous color schemes, not counting the eyes. (Randall's eyes are green, the opposite of his purple skin.)

I went with some traits I like a lot in a creature - I like purple, things with four arms, a slender design, and a long tail. I had to break the color scheme a bit because I really wanted a purple tail, but that would mean the rest of her had to be purple, blue, or pink, which I either didn't like or looked too much like Randall's colors.

NOTES ON HER:
-Blair's tail is not a separate personality. She just pretends it is to make people laugh.
-The tail is part of her ability to mimic any sound or voice she hears with a bit of practice. When she mimics a sound, it will come out of the tail's mouth. This is the only purpose of the "mouth".
-Her digits have non-retractable claws.
-She wears glasses to correct her fixation problem. Don't ask how they stay on her face.
-When she was young, Blair thought she might become a scarer. But by the time she'd reached college age, Monsters Incorporated had made the switch to laugh power, so she studied to become a laugher instead, and it suits her much better.

*I listened to the Monsters, Inc. soundtrack while working on this. It won and Oscar; I didn't know that. It's really jazzy and awesome.
